Abstract: China's economic growth is shifting from speed-oriented to quality-oriented, and this new idea of macro-control promotes the economic development into a "new normal". The pursuit of efficiency growth and high-quality improvement is the key to current development. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee proposed accelerating the construction of a high-standard socialist market economy system, enhancing the impetus for high-quality development, improving the macroeconomic governance system, and boosting As the economic environment evolves and the policy framework transforms, macroeconomic theory should also be refined and innovated. The macro-control tools with geological survey economic attributes should be gradually established in the macroeconomic governance system under the backdrop of a new era and new development, and China's characteristic macroeconomic theory should be innovated. Geological survey is an important part of natural resource survey, and how to promote the innovation and development of geological survey under the "new normal" of economic development is one respect. On the other respect, the economic embodiment of geological survey is the extension of macro-control dimension and it's a new approach to the macroeconomic governance system. This study excavated macro-control indicators of geological survey economy, strengthened the construction of macro-control decision support system, and enriched the tools and means of macro-control. Geological survey economy, acting as a lever to drive macro-economic development, bears great innovative significance and plays a pivotal role in economic development and regulation in the new era.
