Abstract:
Zunhua City has abundant geothermal resources and multiple geothermal blocks has been discovered. Xixiaying Manchu Ethnic Township geothermal block is a newly explored block in recent years. In order to comprehensively study the geothermal geological conditions of this geothermal block and utilize geothermal resources more scientifically and effectively in the future, the authors conducted a comprehensive analysis of the hydro chemical characteristics, trace elements, special gases, and isotopes of geothermal water from three geothermal wells in the area. And Piper trilinear diagram and Na-K-Mg equilibrium diagram were used to further analyze the thermal storage conditions of the geothermal field. The research results are as follows: ① The geothemal water in the study area is SO
4-Na type. ② Geothermal water comes from atmospheric precipitation and lateral runoff in the northern mountainous area, and the supply elevation of geothermal fluid is 519.94 m to 537.18 m. ③ The geothermal water in the study area is characterized by high degree of metamorphism and desulfurization, low degree of salinization and fast circulation and renewal rate of groundwater, and it is strongly influenced by faults, which is in an opening environment. ④ The interaction between geothermal water and rock has not yet reached equilibrium state, and the depth of geothermal water circulation is around 1 988 m. The research results of this study have revealed the hydrochemical characteristics and formation reasons of geothermal fields in Xixiaying Manchu Ethnic Township for the first time, which could promote the research and analysis of geothermal fields in this area and contribute to the future development and utilization of geothermal water in this geothermal block, and further avance the study of geothermal resources in Zunhua City.
