青海省北巴颜喀拉山优云地区下—中三叠统甘德组的时代约束: 来自牙形石的化石证据

    Age constraints of the Lower-Middle Triassic Gande Formation in the northern Bayankala Mountain of Youyun area in Qinghai Province: Evidence from conodonts

    • 摘要: 北巴颜喀拉山优云地区的大地构造位置位于古特提斯洋东段,该地区发育的一套巴颜喀拉山群甘德组主要为由砂岩和板岩组成的复理石建造,岩性组合相对单一,同时由于缺乏可靠的生物地层学证据,导致这套地层的地质时代存在较大争议。对甘德组开展实测剖面工作, 并对剖面中发现的牙形石进行统计,共计12个属和15个种,并识别出极具地层时代判别意义的Hindeodella suevica-Nicoraella kockeli牙形石组合带,填补了该地区甘德组的生物地层信息。综合生物地层学特征及其他地质资料,将北巴颜喀拉山优云地区甘德组的地质时代精确限定为早三叠世奥伦尼克晚期—中三叠世安尼中期。研究成果可为该地区地层层序的厘定提供参考。

       

      Abstract: The tectonic setting of the northern Bayankala Mountain in Youyun area is located in the eastern segment of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean. Gande Formation of Bayankala Group developed in this area is a flysch formation primarily composed of sandstone and slate, with relatively homogeneous lithological assemblages. Meanwhile, the age of this formation remains highly controversial due to the lack of reliable biostratigraphic evidence. A measured section of Gande Formation was conducted to count the conodonts discovered in the section, which belongs to 11 genera and 14 species. A conodonts assemblage zone Hindeodella suevica-Nicoraella kockeli, with significant stratigraphic age-discriminative value, was identified to fill the biostratigraphic information gap of Gande Formation in this region. The age of Gande Formation in Yunyou area of the northern Bayankala Mountains has been precisely constrained to the Late Olenekian Period of Early Triassic to middle Anisian Period of Middle Triassic. The research could provide references for the delineation of stratigraphic sequence in this region.
